Lo sciatore sta finendo la gara.
The skier is finishing the race.

Lo sciatore finisce la gara.
The skier finishes the race.

Lo sciatore ha finito la gara.
The skier finished the race.

L’uomo ha appena finito di fare gli straordinari.
The man has just finished working overtime.

Finisco il lavoro alle otto di sera, quindi ti incontrerĂ² alle nove al ristorante.
I finish work at eight PM, so I’ll meet you at nine at the restaurant.
